Indian Buddhist Music

ENG:Buddhism has been re-introduced in India by Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, in the 50's. Ambedkar was the author of the Indian constitution and in the same time, a member of the dalit cast ( untouchable ). At first, he wanted to fight the inegalities and the injustice of caste system, that's why he choose the buddhism as philosophy and show the way of freedom to untouchables. Actually, more and more people show interest in Buddhism, and they are not untouchables...
FR: Ambedkar est le redacteur de la constitution indienne. Parallèlement a ce travail titanesque, il crea un mouvement bouddhique pour les castes inferieures, dont il est lui meme issu. Actuellement, de plus en plus d'indiens sont interesses par le Bouddhisme et son message de liberte . Et un peu moins, certes, par le volet politique de liberation des castes intouchables.
